Tuotekuvaus:

A hard-hitting classic of 1970s American crime cinema! Across 110th Street (1972), directed by Barry Shear, is a gripping urban thriller in which New York police officers, organised crime and desperate robbers collide on the dangerous streets of Harlem. Starring Anthony Quinn and Yaphet Kotto!

Three criminals disguised as police officers carry out a daring robbery at a Mafia-controlled numbers operation in Harlem, escaping with $300,000.

But their apparent success quickly turns into a deadly nightmare.

The New York Police Department launches an intensive investigation to track down the robbers, while the Mafia sends its own ruthless enforcers to recover the stolen money and exact revenge.

Two police officers find themselves racing against the mob to locate the fugitives before the criminal organisation can reach them.

As the pursuit intensifies, the streets of Harlem become the setting for a brutal confrontation involving money, power, racial tensions and the struggle for survival.

Across 110th Street combines gritty police drama, social commentary and the uncompromising realism of 1970s American crime cinema. The film is also celebrated for its memorable title song performed by Bobby Womack.
