Two American tourists are travelling through the English countryside when their journey takes a horrifying turn. After a brutal wolf attack, one of them survives – but it soon becomes clear that the bite was anything but ordinary.

As the full moon approaches, the young man begins to realise that he is transforming into something far more dangerous. Horror, black comedy and tragic romance collide in one of the most iconic werewolf films ever made.

An American Werewolf in London is especially celebrated for Rick Baker's groundbreaking make-up and transformation effects, helping establish the film as a landmark of the genre. John Landis balances genuine horror and dark humour with remarkable confidence.

The cast includes David Naughton, Jenny Agutter, Griffin Dunne, John Woodvine, Brian Glover and Lila Kaye.
