Arrebato Blu ray

Tuotekuvaus:

A hypnotic masterpiece of Spanish cult cinema! Iván Zulueta's Arrebato (1980), also known as Rapture, is a haunting blend of psychological horror, surreal fantasy and obsessive filmmaking.

José Sirgado, a low-budget horror filmmaker, struggles with personal problems, addiction and his increasingly consuming relationship with cinema.

His life takes a disturbing turn when he becomes involved with Pedro, an eccentric young man fascinated by the mysterious possibilities of his movie camera.

Pedro is attempting to capture his own consciousness on film while under the influence of drugs, pushing the boundaries between artistic experimentation and dangerous obsession.

As their lives become increasingly intertwined, the distinction between reality, addiction and the moving image begins to collapse. The camera itself seems to possess a strange and unsettling power.

Written and directed by Iván Zulueta, Arrebato is an extraordinary Spanish cult film exploring the seductive and destructive nature of artistic obsession.

Starring Eusebio Poncela and Cecilia Roth.

This UK Radiance Films Standard Edition Blu-ray presents the film in 1080p high definition with its original Spanish LPCM 2.0 soundtrack.

English subtitles. No Finnish subtitles.
