Marty, the owner of a remote Texas bar, suspects that his wife Abby is having an affair. Driven by jealousy, he hires a private investigator and hitman to murder his wife and her lover.

But the plan doesn't unfold as expected. Greed, betrayal and misunderstanding trigger an increasingly dangerous chain of events, and soon nobody can be certain who is manipulating whom.

Released in 1984, Blood Simple was the first feature film from Joel and Ethan Coen and became a cult classic of modern neo-noir. The film stars Dan Hedaya, Frances McDormand, John Getz and M. Emmet Walsh.
