When a young man falls under the sinister influence of a mysterious group of devil worshippers in Greece, his life takes a terrifying turn. Soon, it becomes clear that the cult is involved in something far more dangerous than occult rituals, threatening to transform him into a bloodthirsty vampire.

A retired army major comes to the aid of a young woman whose fiancé has fallen under the cult's spell. Their desperate attempt to save him leads into a disturbing world of dark ceremonies, erotic temptation and supernatural horror.

Directed by Robert Hartford-Davis and based on Simon Raven's novel Doctors Wear Scarlet, this unusual vampire thriller combines Gothic horror, occult themes and the provocative atmosphere of early 1970s British cinema.

Starring Patrick Macnee and Alexander Davion, with a memorable appearance by horror legend Peter Cushing.

This Hammer Films Limited Edition Blu-ray release includes three different cuts of the film across two Blu-ray discs. The original pressing also features a slipcover.
