Small-time crook Archie Moses considers Rock Keats his best friend, until a major drug deal reveals the shocking truth: Rock is actually an undercover cop.

Things quickly spiral out of control, and during a chaotic shootout Archie accidentally shoots Rock in the head. After recovering, Rock returns to duty only to discover that his first assignment is to escort his former best friend back from Arizona so Archie can testify against the ruthless drug kingpin he once worked for.

The two can barely stand each other anymore, but they soon realize they are being hunted from every direction. Someone is leaking their every move, leaving them caught between the police, the FBI and dangerous criminals.
