The collection includes The Occupant (1984), Why Me? (1985), City War (1988), The Diary of a Big Man (1988), The Eighth Happiness (1988) and Fractured Follies (1988).

The six-film collection showcases Chow Yun-Fat's diverse 1980s work across action, comedy, romance, drama and horror. The cast also includes Shing Fui-On, Kent Cheng, Joey Wang, Raymond Pak-Ming Wong and Sally Yeh.

Shout Factory's Hong Kong Cinema Classics #43–48 release contains 12 discs, with 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray presentations of all six films. The 4K presentations are listed as Native 4K (2160p) with Dolby Vision and HDR10, housed in a slipbox.
