Based on the Greek myth of Perseus, Clash of the Titans follows the hero's saga from his extraordinary beginnings to his quest to save and marry Princess Andromeda. Throughout his life, Perseus has been forced to contend with circumstances far beyond his control.

As an adult, he must face the vengeance of the sea goddess Thetis. With divine assistance from Zeus, Perseus embarks on a dangerous adventure filled with mythical creatures, interference from the gods and seemingly impossible challenges.

Directed by Desmond Davis, the 1981 fantasy adventure stars Harry Hamlin, Judi Bowker, Burgess Meredith, Maggie Smith, Ursula Andress and Claire Bloom.
