The film was written by Patrick Tam and future internationally acclaimed filmmaker Wong Kar-wai.

A good-natured man reluctantly agrees to help his brother, who is currently serving time in prison.

His task appears straightforward: he must look after both his brother's wife and his mistress until his brother is released.

However, keeping two women happy while remaining loyal to his brother proves far more difficult than he ever imagined.

As the situation develops, personal feelings begin to complicate his responsibilities, and he unexpectedly finds himself trapped in a love triangle.

With his brother's parole hearing rapidly approaching, the pressure continues to grow.

What began as a reluctant favour has become an emotional dilemma with potentially serious consequences.

Can he resolve the situation before his brother returns, or will the tangled relationships threaten everything?
