During a freezing Scandinavian winter night in World War II, two German soldiers are travelling with a Norwegian soldier they have taken prisoner. Struggling against the brutal conditions, the three men discover an isolated house deep in the wilderness and gratefully seek shelter inside.
Their relief doesn't last long. Something is terribly wrong with the house, and as the night progresses its disturbing secrets begin to emerge. Soon the hostility between the soldiers is no longer the greatest threat they face.
The House (Huset) combines a World War II setting, claustrophobic atmosphere and supernatural horror in a chilling Scandinavian fight for survival.
Written and directed by Reinert Kiil, the film stars Mats Reinhardt, Frederik von Lüttichau, Sondre Krogtoft Larsen, Evy Kasseth Røsten, Sigmund Sæverud and Espen Edvardsen.
