In a dystopian 2021, Johnny (Keanu Reeves) is a data courier with an implant in his brain that allows him to securely transport information too sensitive for conventional computer networks.

During one delivery, Johnny accepts a data package that exceeds the implant's safe capacity. Unless the information can be removed in time, it will kill him. Making matters worse, the data stored inside his head proves to be far more valuable than he ever imagined – and a group of deadly assassins wants it back.

With time running out, Johnny must stay alive long enough to remove the dangerous data before it destroys him.

Directed by Robert Longo and written by legendary cyberpunk author William Gibson, Johnny Mnemonic is a cult 1990s science-fiction thriller starring Keanu Reeves, Dolph Lundgren, Takeshi Kitano, Ice-T, Henry Rollins and Udo Kier.
