Something enormous is waiting at the bottom of Norway's deepest fjord – Kraken brings the mythical sea monster into Nordic horror!

Marine biologist Johanne is conducting research at a fish farm in Vangsnes, a rural community by the fjord, when she encounters a series of strange occurrences. Following the brutal deaths of two local teenagers, all signs begin to point towards the dark waters of the deep fjord.

There may be much more hiding beneath the surface than anyone could imagine. At the bottom of Norway's deepest fjord rests a mythical monster as large as a mountain, with a myriad of arms ready to crush and devour anything within its reach.

Directed by Pål Øie, Kraken combines horror, thriller, fantasy, drama and action in a distinctly Nordic setting. The film stars Sara Khorami, Mikkel Bratt Silset, Ingvild Holthe Bygdnes and Jenny Evensen.
