In a small Finnish village, sisters Taina and Pirkko are famous for brewing the region's best traditional sahti beer. When they are commissioned to produce 100 liters for an important midsummer celebration, everything seems to be under control.

However, when the precious batch disappears before the festivities begin, the sisters find themselves on a frantic journey to save their reputation and the celebration itself. Along the way, they encounter eccentric locals, unexpected obstacles and plenty of comic misadventures.
