The story continues with Desperado, starring Antonio Banderas as the mysterious Mariachi, arriving in a Mexican border town with a guitar case full of weapons and revenge on his mind. The cast also includes Salma Hayek, Steve Buscemi, Cheech Marin and Danny Trejo.

The saga reaches its explosive conclusion in Once Upon a Time in Mexico, as the Mariachi becomes caught up in a dangerous conspiracy. Rodriguez's stylised action, dark humour and modern western aesthetic are joined by an impressive cast including Johnny Depp, Willem Dafoe and Mickey Rourke.

Arrow's Special Edition collects all three films on Blu-ray in a slipbox package with reversible covers.
