When a group of teenagers are found dead with their faces twisted in terror, journalist Reiko Asakawa begins investigating the mysterious deaths. Her search leads to an urban legend surrounding a cursed videotape that supposedly kills anyone who watches it within seven days.

As Reiko gets closer to the truth, she uncovers the dark history behind the curse and realizes that the terrifying legend may be very real.
