Something terrifying is happening in a quiet American town.

One day, every resident mysteriously loses consciousness at exactly the same time. No one can explain what caused the strange event, but its horrifying consequences soon become clear.

The women of the town discover that they are pregnant, and nine months later, a group of seemingly ordinary children is born. However, these children are anything but normal.

Possessing extraordinary intelligence, chillingly emotionless personalities and terrifying supernatural abilities, the children begin to exert control over the minds and actions of those around them. As their powers grow, the townspeople find themselves facing an unimaginable threat.

Directed by horror legend John Carpenter (Halloween, The Thing), Village of the Damned is a chilling science fiction horror film based on John Wyndham's novel The Midwich Cuckoos. A remake of the 1960 horror classic, the film stars Christopher Reeve, Kirstie Alley, Linda Kozlowski, Michael Paré and Mark Hamill.
